About Helen Campbell | Menopause Holistic Therapist | Mai Solas

Meet Helen

The heart behind Mai Solas

Hello, I'm Helen

After experiencing my own challenges during perimenopause, I became passionate about understanding how hormonal changes affect women physically, mentally and emotionally.

What began as a personal search for answers became a new direction in life.

Now I combine holistic therapies with a commitment to listen, because I believe every woman deserves to feel heard, supported and understood.

My Journey

My interest in holistic wellbeing began long before I trained as a therapist.

From childhood I was fascinated by Eastern philosphies and the connection between mind and body. Living in Singapore for several years deepened that interest for me and showed me how different cultures approach health, balance and wellbeing.

Those experiences stayed with me

When I entered perimenopause myself, I realised something many women experience.

I didn't need someone to promise me miracle cures.

I just needed someone to hear me.

Someone who understood how the anxiety felt and how it could overwhelming me; how on other days I was exhausted, with aching muscles, and could't sleep.

That I felt invisible and that I had lost Me.

That realization changed the direction of my work.

Why Menopause?

Always Learning

Today I'm a qualified Holistic Therapist specialising in supporting women through perimenopause and menopause.

But qualifications for me is only the beginning.

When you walk through my door your story; your symptoms; your needs are unique to you. There is no single therapy that helps everyone, which is why I treat the whole person, and continue to study and deepen my understanding.

I don't learn because I wait to offer more treatments.

Every skill I learn gives me another way to respond to your individual challenges.

Whether that's massage, reflexology, lymphatic drainage, aromatherapy, facial therapies or Reiki. I chose to learn each therapy because no two women experience perimenopause or menopause is the same way.

No woman should accept a 'one-size-fits-all' approach.

Your needs are unique, so the therapies used should be unique to your needs.

My commitment is simple: keep learning, so I can continue to offer thoughtful, compassionate support that's grounded in current understanding and tailored to your individual needs.
