Japanese Facial Massage
(Tsuboki)
The face remembers all.
Everyday stress can leave us holding tension without even realising it, particularly in the face, jaw, scalp, and neck. Using gentle massage, manual lymphatic drainage, and traditional Japanese acupressure techniques, Tsuboki helps these areas soften and feel less puffy while giving you time to rest and let go.
Ageing is a natural process. Tension doesn't have to be. Tsuboki gently encourages your face to release what it no longer needs to hold.
Your face carries more than the signs of time. It carries laughter, worry, resilience and love. Tsuboki is about honouring that story while gently helping your face release the tension it no longer needs to carry.

What To Expect
75 minutes · £60
105 minutes · £90
First, we’ll sit down for a short conversation about how you’re feeling, any health concerns, skin sensitivities, or recent facial treatments. We’ll also talk about any areas where you notice tension, such as your jaw, forehead, neck, or shoulders.
I’ll explain the treatment, then leave you in private to remove your upper clothing and settle onto the warm treatment couch beneath towels and blankets. Your body will remain covered, with your face, neck, and upper shoulders accessible for the massage.
I’ll begin with gentle work around your neck and shoulders, giving you time to settle before moving to your face.
Using a small amount of facial oil, I’ll work across your face with flowing movements and massage techniques, paying attention to the muscles around your jaw, cheeks and forehead. The pressure will be comfortable and adjusted to suit you.
The treatment includes Japanese acupressure, using gentle, focused pressure on specific points on the face, along with light lymphatic drainage movements. I’ll explain anything unfamiliar before we begin, so you can close your eyes and rest.
Please feel free to ask me to adjust the pressure or stop at any point.
Afterwards, I’ll give you privacy and time to get dressed before we talk about how you’re feeling.
Please allow 75 or 105 minutes for your visit.
